2003 Piaggio Vespa ET4
2003 Vespa ET4
Based on one of the classic designs in two-wheeled history, the new Vespa harkens back to a time long before disc brakes and liquid-cooling, both of which it features. Unlike nearly every other scooter in production, the ET4's gorgeous bodywork is made of steel, not plastic. The 150cc engine carries a rider and passenger with surprising alacrity. Piaggio is set to open 'Vespa boutiques' in several major cities across the country, and hopes to stimulate as passionate a following of the new machine as that enjoyed by the original model. The ET4 deserves it. Seat height: 32 inches.
